NISER Online Application Form
I want to join NISER. Please tell me the procedure to fill up the online application form. NISER established by the Department of Atomic Energy, strives to become a citadel for basic sciences and allied subjects in terms of teaching and research. National Entrance Screening Test (NEST) is a compulsory test for students seeking admission to National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER), You need to read carefully the brochure of NISER before applying for NEST exam. The Brochure can be downloaded by click on the pdf link below. Admission procedure:- 1. Register yourself at the website. You need a valid email id to do so. 2. Application process – Page 1 : Fill/Edit Form (Basic Information of the candidate) 3. Application process – Page 2 : Make Payment 4. Application process – Page 3 : Upload (photo, signature and scanned DD if applicable) 5. Application process – Page 4 : Verify all information on the application preview page and Submit 6. NISER Online Admission procedure FEE STRUCTURE :- 1 Male (General and OBC categories) - 700/- 2 Male (SC and ST categories) - 350/- 3 Female (All categories) - 350/- 4 Persons with Physical Disability (All categories) – 350/- Eligibilty:- Candidates in General and OBC category should be born on or after July 15, 1995. The age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ ST/ Physically Disabled (PD) candidates. Class XII qualifying examination should be passed in either 2013 or 2014. Candidates appearing in 2015 are also eligible. (Where only Letter Grade is given by the Board, a certificate from the Board specifying equivalent percentage marks will be required. In the absence of such a certificate the decision of the respective Admission Committees will be final.) At least 60% marks in aggregate (or equivalent grade) in Class XII (or equivalent) examination from any recognized Board in India. For Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST) candidates and for Persons with Disability (PD), the minimum requirement is 55%.
