Is NIT Agartala a Good College
Can you tell me if National Institute of Technology (NIT), Agartala is a good College/Institute as I want to pursue Civil Engineering program from there?

National Institute of Technology (NIT), Agartala was established in 1965 as Tripura Engineering College. It was initially affiliated to Calcutta University and had the same curriculum structure and examination system at par with Bengal Engineering College. The National Institute of Technology, Agartala is a technology-oriented institute of higher education established by India's Ministry of Human Resource Development Government of India in Agartala, India. It was founded as Tripura Engineering College in 1965 and declared a National Institute of Technology (NIT) in 2006. Its mission is to help to improve the economic development of India particularly the North-East states and also the public systems, through pursuit of excellence in technical education, research, consultancy and training. In 2013, the mechanical and civil engineering branches of the Institute were accredited by the National Board of Accreditation for five years, while the electrical engineering branch was provisionally accredited for two years. Ranking NIT Agartala is ranked 52nd best engineering college of India 2016 and 14th among NITs by National Institutional Ranking Framework, Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. It is also ranked 89th best university of India 2016 by National Institutional Ranking Framework, Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India.
