NIT Goa is organised a workshop for Optical Flare. Optical Flare is a National Workshop on Optical Imaging and Sensing, Optical Communications and Networking, Display Technology, Nano, Opto and Bio Electronics, Remote Sensing and LASERS and their Applications.

It was being conducted for the first time in Goa, on the 16th and 17th of March, 2013.
