NITK or National Institute of Technology Karnataka Surathkal is a completely residential campus with hostel facility for over 5000 students, separate blocks for girls and boys.

Hostel blocks have reading rooms and dining halls which serve different cuisine. All rooms in it are provided with high speed broadband and Wi-Fi internet connectivity.

The room is single-seater and 2/3 seater shared type. A separate hostel for the Post Graduate students is available.

There are independent messes of various types are run in different hostels. There are 2 night canteens running in boys and girls’ premises to provide the late night hunger.

Moreover five well established cafeterias are there in different corner of the campus to cater the hunger with delicious and hygienic food items.
