Well to the best of my knowledge the NITK only provide the regular course and the IGNOU provide the distance course

NITK is known for its engineering course while IGNOU is an open university which has a pool of courses

So both the ways are different you have to decide whether you want to dot he regular or the private course

IGNOU does not provide the B.Tech courses

If you want to do the regular course then there are many NITs which are better than the NITK but if you want to do the op-en course then no one can beat the IGNOU
