Yes Darshil NIT Warangal takes admission for MCA on the basis of NIMCET below I am providing you all the information about this Exam:

The NIMCET is NIT MCA Common Entrance Test, a National Level Test conducted by NITs for admission in to MCA programme.


Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates must have completed their B.Sc/BCA/B.Sc (IT) or B.E/B.Tech from a recognized university and secured at least 60% marks or equivalent CGPA.

Final year students are also eligible to appear in this exam.


Exam Pattern

NIMCET test will be conducted with only one question paper containing 120 multiple-choice questions covering the following subjects.

Multiple Choice Questions will be written in English

Language only and will not be translated into any other language

1. Mathematics 50 questions

2. Analytical Ability & Logical Reasoning 40 questions

3. Computer Awareness 10 questions

4. General English 20 questions


The duration of NIMCET exam is 2 hours and Question Paper will consist of 120 multiple-choice questions with four choices for each question

Each correctly answered question will carry four marks and each wrongly answered question will lead to Negative one mark

All rough work is to be done in the Test Booklet only. The candidate should not do any rough work or put any stray marks on the OMR Sheet
