At present the Jadavpur University has three Faculties: Engineering & Technology, Science and Arts. The Faculty of Engineering & Technology runs 16 (sixteen) B.E. courses, 3 (three) 5-year (Evening) Engg. Degree courses, 2 (two) Post B.Sc. B.Tech. courses, thirty-seven (37) Post Graduate Courses (M.E./M.Tech./M.Arch./M.Pharm/ Evening M.E./M.Tech.) with a lot of specialisation and M.C.A. course.

At present most of the courses are approved by AICTE.

Eligibility:

Higher Secondary (10+2) Examination in General Stream of West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education or any other equivalent examination of a University/Board with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English are eligible for provisional admission to the First Year Class of the aforesaid Undergraduate Engg/Tech/Arch/ Pharm courses.
