North Eastern Hill University (NEHU) is a Central University set up on 19 July 1973 by an Act of the Indian Parliament. The college is in the suburb of Shillong, the state capital of Meghalaya, India. The college has two grounds: Shillong and Tura in Meghalaya. NEHU Tura Campus capacities under an Pro Vice chancellor.

NEHU 2016 Eligibility Criteria

B.Tech Program: Information Technology/Electronics Communication Engineering/Energy Engineering/Biomedical Engineering: Eligibility Criteria for B.Tech: (a) Candidates who has passed 10+2 in Science stream or its proportionate from any perceived Board having secured at least 45% total imprints in Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Technical professional subjects (relaxable by 5% for SC/ST competitors) (b) A hopefuls must have legitimate positive JEE (Main) score.

B.Tech. Sidelong Entry Admission: Eligibility criteria for affirmation straightforwardly into second year/third year Semester B.Tech. Courses.

B.Tech. Hardware Communication Engineering (ECE): 3 years Diploma in Engineering from taking after controls: ECE/Electrical/Instrumentation/Medical Electronics/Information Technology/CSE having secured at least 60% imprints in total through at least three years of institutional study after class 10/SSLC examination OR B.Sc. in Electronics/Mathematics/Physics having secured at least half stamps in total from any perceived establishment having Mathematics at 10+2 level.

B.Tech. (Vitality Engineering): 3 years Diploma in Engineering in the significant branch of Energy Engineering with at least 60% imprints in total from any perceived organization through at least three years of institutional study after class 10/SSLC examination.
