General information related to NTPC Scholarship
COVERAGE
All students belonging to Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe/Physically Challenged
categories pursuing 2 years full time MBA/PGDBM in Human Resource
Management/Finance Management/General Management from any IIMs, XLRI and
FMS, shall be eligible to apply for the NTPC Scholarship.
SCHOLARSHIP: COMMENCEMENT, NUMBER, AMOUNT, DURATION AND.
2.1 The Scholarship Scheme shall commence from academic session 2014-15.
2.2 The number of scholarships in various disciplines of MBA/PGDBM will be
decided by the management from time to time.
At present the total number of scholarships is 30 in the ratio of 15-SC-10-ST- 5-PC( 2-OH/2-VH/1-HH).
However, disability may be exchanged/substituted in case students from any
particular disability is not available.
2.3 The amount of scholarship shall be Rs.4000/- per month per student for a
maximum period of 2 years.

The decision of the Company with regard to award of scholarship, continuance and/or
discontinuance as the case may be, shall be final and binding.
The candidates availed Scholarship from NTPC for the duration of the course will not
entail upon NTPC any liability for his/her employment.
NTPC reserves the right to alter, modify or withdraw the scheme as considered
necessary.
