To apply for Officers Training Academy you have to clear CDS exam. For OTA age must be between 19-25 years.

Combined Defence Services Exam (CDS) is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission twice a year for recruitment into the Indian Military Academy, Officers Training Academy, Indian Naval Academy and Indian Air Force Academy.

For Indian Military Academy/Officers' Training Academy: Degree or equivalent from a recognized university
