The Indian Institute of Technology Bombay is a public engineering institution located in Powai, Mumbai, India. It is the second-oldest (after Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur) institute of the Indian Institutes of Technology system. IIT Bombay was established in 1958.

Here I am telling you the process to apply online for booking of guest room in the hostel of the Institute.

Go to the official website of Gymkhana, IITB.

Then click on tab “IIT Bombay Hostel affairs” at the left side of the page

Then a new page will open

Now click on the link “Guest Accomodation Booking System” at the left side of the page

Then a new page will open



On this page enter the details and then click on “add” button.

After this your booking will be done.

Please note that a guest can stay in a hostel for no longer than 7 days at a stretch.

Hall Managers are hereby authorized to disallow the stay of such guests after the initial period of 7 days.

They shall be happy to accommodate the same guest, for a further period of 7 days, after a period of at least one month of nonresidence in campus.
