West Bengal central school service commission conducts the West Bengal Teacher Eligibility Test

It is the process of recruitment for eligible candidates for upper primary teacher vacant posts

Important Dates:
• Application process will start in June 2016
• Online Application forms will be received in June 2016
• WB TET will be conducted on : August 2016

Education Qualification :
Candidates should have passed B.Ed/Special Education after Graduation in any discipline with minimum of 50%

Age Limit :
Age should be between 18 to 40 years

Application fee:
• General category candidates have to pay Rs.250/-
• SC/ST category candidates have to pay Rs.80/-


WB TET Exam Pattern
There are two question papers in this test;

Objective Type questions are asked in the papers;

There are 150 Multiple Choice Questions in each paper;

The duration of the examination is 1 ½ hours;

The questions will be asked on subjects
Child Development and Pedagogy,
Maths,
Language and
Environmental Studies;
