2 terms of Osgoode Hall Year 1 curriculum (Fall/Winter year 1)

4 terms of combined Schulich courses and Osgoode courses (Fall/Winter year 2 & 3)

Program Requirements:

All joint MBA/JD students are also required to take MGMT 5500 0.00 in their first year of the Joint MBA/JD Program.

This is a Compulsory Non-Credit Seminar Course.

Schulich:

27.00 credit-hours of Schulich MBA 1 Required Foundations of Management Core Courses.

6.00 credit-hours of Schulich MBA 2 Required Foundations of Management Core Courses (SGMT 6000 3.00 Strategic Management, MGMT 6090 0.00 and MGMT 6100 3.00 Strategy Field Study)

12.00 credit-hours of Schulich MBA elective courses.
Students who receive waiver with replacement for Schulich MBA 1 required Core

Courses must replace these core courses with Schulich elective courses. No advanced standing is permitted in the JD program.

Osgoode:

9 Courses of Required Osgoode Hall Year 1 curriculum

At Least 45 academic credits of Osgoode Hall Law School courses, including completion Of the Joint MBA/JD Seminar (LW 3820 3.00) in the final year

Completion of the upper year research and writing requirement (a major paper of at least 8000 words worth at least 60% of the course grade)

Successful completion of the 40 hour Osgoode Public Interest Requirement (OPIR)
