The Osmania University provides hostel accommodation to over 4500 students hailing from outside Hyderabad city. There are 14 hostels in the University campus and admissions into them are provided, subject to availability. A separate hostel accommodation exists for Engineering students that is close to the College of Engineering.

The hostels have spacious rooms and excellent dining facilities and create an atmosphere of a home- away-from-home. There are two hostels exclusively for girl students that provide accommodation to over thousand girl students.
