If one decides to establish named Gifts of endowed fund for the benefit of Pacific University, one may designate fund for scholarships, program or activity support, or faculty professorship and chair positions.


University Advancement staff will work to establish fund guidelines and discuss the most beneficial and tax-wise giving strategies. Endowed funds can be established and named with the amounts below:


Create a Scholarship
Minimum gift is of $25,000.
Scholarships enable the school to recruit and retain a diverse and talented student population.


Endowed Funds Across Campus
Minimum gift is of $25,000.
Endowed funds may be designated to support existing activities at Pacific University, such as academics, athletics and library collections.


Endowed Professorships
Minimum gift is of $500,000.
Endowed professorships recognize outstanding accomplishments of the Pacific University faculty by providing partial support for teaching and research activities.
Such positions offer incentive for all faculty members to achieve excellence in these areas.


Endowed Chairs
Minimum gift is of $1,500,000.
Endowed chairs recognize teaching and research excellence, strengthening Pacific's ability to attract and retain key faculty.
