Duration of the Programme

The duration of the programme is 3.5 Academic years comprising 7
semesters.

Class Hours

Classes will be held from 6.00 p.m. to 9.00 p.m. on all working days.



Eligibility criteria:

a) Qualification:

1. Diploma Candidates

Candidates should have passed the Qualifying Diploma examination in
Engineering/ Technology in the relevant branch of specialization conducted by
the State Board of Technical Education, Tamil Nadu or Other State or any
other equivalent examination recognized by VELS University.

2. B.Sc. Candidates

A pass with prescribed minimum eligibility marks in any recognized
Bachelors Degree in Science of minimum 3 years duration with 10 + 2 + 3
pattern with Mathematics as one of the subjects at Plus Two level.

b) Year of passing Diploma / B.Sc.:

Shall have been employed after qualifying for the Diploma / B.Sc. The period
being counted as on 1st January of the academic year in which admission is
sought.

No age limit is prescribed for admission.
