Re: Pbcl2 + hcl
at the point when the vast abundance of HCl added to PbCl2 will be expansions the dissolvability of PbCl2, the overabundance of chloride particle respond with lead particles to fom the solvent stable complex particle of PbCl4^2-the condition is: PbCl2-> Pb2+ + 2Cl- Pb2+ + 4 Cl- - >PbCl4^2- It produces Lead chloride and hydrogen gas. Lead(II) chloride respond with water PbCl2 + H2O → Pb(OH)Cl + HCl Lead(II) chloride respond with water to deliver lead(II) chloride-hydroxide and hydrogen chloride. This response happens at a temperature close to 50°C. |
