How much minimum percentage required in X & XII to apply for IAS Exam?? Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) conducts IAS - Indian Administrative Service exam to recruit the eligible candidates Well there is no such specific percentage requirement of X & XII to apply for IAS Exam. Its eligibility states that you should have passed degree of any of Universities incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or other educational institutions Eligibility for IAS Exam -You must be a citizen of India. - You must hold a degree of any of Universities incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University Under Section-3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956, or possess an equivalent qualification -You must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 30 years -The upper age limit will be relaxable as per UPSC norms Books list for study – IAS Exam 1.
