Andhra Pradesh Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test (AP PGECET) is a State Level Common Entrance Test conducted for admission to the M.Tech/ M.E programmes in Andhra Pradesh

Eligibility Criteria:

-Candidates must be Indian Nationals.

-They must be residents of Andhra Pradesh and must meet the local/ non-local status requirements as laid down in the regulations of admission.

-They must have scored a minimum of 50% marks (45% in case candidate belonging to reserved category) in B.E./B.Tech./AMIE in the respective disciplines

Application Fee:

Rs. 500/- for unreserved category candidates

Rs. 250/- for reserved category candidates


Exam Pattern:

-The Duration of the exam is 2 hours

-Total No of Questions asked in the AP PGECET will be 120

-All questions will be Objective type with multiple choice answers

-One mark will be awarded for each correct answer

-The AP PGECET Cutoff for qualifying is 25% marks.


Important Dates:

Notifications will be commenced: 2nd week of March, 2016

Date of Examination: in the month of May, 2016 (last week)

Starting date of online application: 2nd week of March, 2016

Last date of the online form submission: 3rd week of April, due date candidates fill the form till 3rd week of May, 2016 but with a penalty of increment in the application fee (increased on the daily basis).

Admit Card Downloading date: in the month of May, 2016.
