Re: PGCET Vacancy Positions

As you want to know the process of filling of vacant seats of PGCET as under:

Those who have taken exam of GATE need not to take the PGCET exam

After the allotment to the GATE qualified candidates is over, the remaining vacant seats will be offered to Karnataka PGCET qualified students from Karnataka and other students in the ratio 90:10.

The Seat Allotment for the Karnataka PGCET will follow the guidelines of the reservation policies of the Government

The first round of Karnataka PGCET Seat Allotment will be for the GATE qualified candidates.

Candidates can note that the reservations in this round will only be applicable to the Karnataka candidates and not candidates from other states.

Candidates must enter their CET number to know their Karnataka PGCET Seat Allotment details

The Physically Disabled persons (3% reservation) will be first allotted seats as per their rank and options.

The other candidates will be allotted the seats as per the Karnataka PGCET Rank List and the options entered by the candidates

Allotment will be first for the General Merit seats and thereafter for the reserved category candidates
