The Government of Assam Department of Education (Elementary) For Siksha Mitras and Additional Siksha Mitra Board also invites notification for Assam Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) every year.

The board conducts TET exam for filling various teacher posts in various subjects.

TET exam pattern:
The examination shall be for 200 marks of 200 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), each one of them carrying equal marks.

Subject
General Studies & Current Affairs —->100 MCQs —-> 100 Marks
Pedagogy & General English —->100 MCQs —-> 100 Marks
Total—->200 MCQs —-> 200 Marks

Eligibility:

Graduate teacher has been prescribed as BA / B.Sc / B.Com with 50% marks with B.T./ B.Ed. degree from any recognized university.

Application fees:
A fee of Rs. 500/- is required to be paid
