Hey!!! As you said that you want to take admission for Ph.D in Education in Jammu University for that you have to give and clear Combined Entrance Test conducted by the University

Eligibility Criteria for this course:
Candidate should obtained Master Degree, with not less than 55% marks in aggregate (50% in case of SC/ST Candidates) in the Programme in which he/she desires to take admission
A candidate shall be required to obtain minimum 50% marks in the Entrance Test that shall be considered as the eligibility for further processing of the case of the candidate
Reservation: There shall be 8% reservation for SC/ST categories each and 3% for persons with disabilities
Selection Procedure
Candidates will be selected on the basis of 50% weightage in the entrance test and 50% weightage in their academic merit at PG level

Exam Pattern:
-There will be common paper for all programmes but 2 question papers divided for all Undergraduate and Postgraduate category
-2 hour 30 minutes’ time Duration for each paper
-There will be 150 totalquestions divided into 4 parts i.e.
Part A – General English having 40 questions,
Part B – General knowledge having 40 Questions,
Part C – Reasoning having 40 questions and
Part D – Numerical Ability having 30 questions

-Objective type questions of 1 mark each
-Negative marking scheme and for each wrong answer 0.25 marks will be deducted
-Numerical Ability of 10th Standard for both papers
-The overall merit will be based on 70:30 for which the entrance marks will be totaled out of 70 and the qualifying exam(Bachelor degree and 10+2) marks will be calculated out of 30.
