Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies or NMIMS offers admission to PhD Programmes in Management with specialization in Marketing, Human Resources and Behavioral Science, Operations, Finance, Strategy, Information Systems, General Management and Social Entrepreneurship.

Ph D Eligibility (For full time Part Time Ph. D):

Full time MBA or full time PGDM or part time MBA (duration of the programme in case of FT, MBA and PGDM must be minimum 2 years) from recognized university or notified by AIU as equivalent to MBA of an University or Master’s Degree in any relevant discipline like Commerce/ Economics/ Statistics/ Psychology/ Sociology/IT/Engineering etc, or professional qualifications like CA/CS/CWA etc.

One who has completed 1 year MBA or PGDM Program requiring experience of more than 5 years prior to MBA?PGDM are eligible for applying for Ph. D program provided the MBA/PGDM program is approved by AICTE or by UGC.

One appearing or awaiting for final year result are not eligible to apply.

MBA through Distance or correspondence mode will not be eligible to apply.

Full Time Ph.D
At least 60% marks or equivalent grade at master’s level.
At least 55% marks or equivalent grade at master’s level and graduation degree with at least 60% as mentioned by University in Final mark sheet at Bachelor level.
Full time Doctoral scholars will require 2 years of full time work experience minimum after graduation (2year work experience should be after obtaining graduation degree)

Part Time Ph.D:
Part time Ph.D will require minimum 5 years full time work experience in executive or supervisory capacity (out of which at least 2 years work experience should be after obtaining Masters Degree)

The experience should be full time experience and not include part time experience, Internships, projects, training period, trainee (management, engineering) etc.

One must have completed Post Graduation/Masters in stipulated duration as per University / Institution awarding degree.
