IIT offers PhD that is a research programme whose focus is the study. The course works are there to ensure the necessary breadth in the areas for the student.

IIT Hyderabad provides the semester-wise courses and the planning of PhD study is dependent on the student’s background.

IIT Hyderabad admission to Postgraduate programmes will be based on the performance in the Postgraduate Entrance Examination (PGEE) and an interview to be held at IIIT Hyderabad.
