Bundelkhand University (BU) offers Ph.D. programs leading to the award of Ph.D. degree through its Departments / Research Centres.

The award of Ph.D. degree is in recognition of high academic achievements,
independent research and application of knowledge to the solution of problems in Basic & Applied Sciences, Engineering, Medicine, Technology ,Computer Applications and Management or in recognition of high academic achievements, independent research in Arts, Social Science, Humanities or other branches of
knowledge.

PhD Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must have completed he masters degree in the appropriate subjects from any recognized institute or university.

Candidates need to have minimum 55% marks in the examination of the Master Degree.

The candidates of the SC and ST category will be offered the relaxation of 5% in the marks.

Candidates, who are appearing for the final year of the Master’s Degree, can also apply

Application/Registration Fee

The application fee for the candidates of the general category will be Rs. 2000.

The candidates of the reserved category will be given the benefits of the reservation and they will have to make the payment of the application fee of Rs. 1000.

Candidates will have to make the payment of the application fee thru the online modes such as credit card/debit card/online banking etc.
