Re: Physiotherapy RPSC

Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) conducts a Written exam for recruitment of Physiotherapist (Medical & Health Department).

RPSC Physiotherapist Exam Pattern :

The Duration of Test is 02 (Two) Hours (120Minutes).

Written Exam will be Multiple Choice Objective Type.

The Question Paper consists of 100 Questions and 100 marks.

There will also be negative marking for every wrong answer.

Exam Syllabus :

EXERCISE THERAPY

1. Basic Physics, Massage, Suspension Therapy, Passive, Active, Assisted, Resisted Movement & Muscle Strength.
2. Muscle Assessment, P.N.F., Joint movement, Posture, Coordination & Breathing exercise & Yoga, Joint & Joint analysis.

ELECTROTHERAPY

1. Electrical fundamentals, Magnetic energy to valves & condeneors, Low frequency current, electro-diagnostic therapeutic heat & cryotherapy.
2. High frequency current – Treatment. SWD, US, Microwave, Low frequency, IFT, TNS.
3. Electromagnetic Agents, I.R.R., Low intensity Laser, UV & Hydrocollatral.
4. Stimulative effect sensory & moter nerve activation. Muscle stimulation.

BIOMECHANICS & KINESIOLOGY

1. Kinetic aspect of Limb movements.
2. Biomechanics of gait.

PHYSIOTHERAPY IN ORTHOPEDIC CONDITION

1. Fracture, dislocation & Amputation.
2. Inflammatory conditions & deformity.
3. Operative procedures.
4. Soft tissue injuries & Arthritis.
5. Paraplegic quadriplegia rehabilitation.

PHYSIOTHERAPY IN MEDICAL CONDITION

1. Disease of Respiratory System & Gastro Urinary Conditions & rheumatogical conditions like Hemophilia connective tissue disease etc.
2. Infections diseases like Tetanus & Leprosy.
3. Peripheral vascular & heart diseases.
4. Polio mylitis cerebral – Palsy
5. Hemiplegia, Parkinsons, Peripheral nerve diseases, Sciatica, Backache, Bell’s palsy.
6. Cardiac rehabilitation.
7. Disease of Spinal Cord.
8. Demyelinating diseases like GBS.
9. Peripheral nerve disorders. Like Epilepsy, myasesthenia gravis, motor neuron disease.

PHYSIOTHERAPY IN SURGICAL CONDITION

1. Role of Physiotherapy in surgery, Chest Physiotherapy, Postural drainage, Physiotherapy in Post Cardio-thoracic vascular surgery.
2. Burns, Plastic surgery.
3. Neuro Surgical conditions with traumatic brain injuries & Spinal Cord injuries.
4. Anti natal & post natal physiotherapy and menopause.
5. Pre and post operative physiotherapy – Management in Abdominal surgery & Herniorraphy, Redical mastectomy Thoractomy, Lobectomy, Open heart surgery. Cervical & Lumber spondylosis & Disc prolapse & Spinal surgery

CLINICAL REHABILITATION

1. Physiotherapy management, Upper and Lower extremities, Spinal Orthosis & prosthesis & prosthetic training.
2. Foot wear modifications.
3. Jaipur foot.
4. Splints.
