The University of Delhi, informally known as Delhi University, is a collegiate public central university, located in New Delhi, India. It was founded in 1922 by an Act of the Central Legislative Assembly B.A. (Hons) Business Economics (BBE) The two-year full-time program in Business Economics is designed to meet the growing need for an analytical and quantitative approach to problem solving in the changing corporate world by the application of the latest techniques evolved in the fields of Economics and Business Eligibility: (a) The candidate should have passed Senior Secondary School Examination (10 +2) of CBSE or any other examination considered equivalent by the University ofDelhi. (b) The candidate should have secured an aggregate of at least 60% marks in his/her XII class exam ination (55% for SC, ST, CW and PC categories) in four papers including English and Mathematics. The other two papers are to be selected fromSociology. (c) The candidate sh o u ld have obtained pass m ark in each of the four papers considered for com puting the aggregate in the above mentioned subjects. (d) The candidate seeking admission to the B.A. (Honours) Business Economics course m ust provide the confirmed result of the qualifying examination and marks obtained therein w ithin one week of the appearing in the joint entrance test. Placement details: I think its depends on you and your college placement cell. Some of the college in du has good placement cell and other one has average. And as I already told its also depends on you. Final selection for the course The final selection of all candidates shall be based on the score com puted by giving equal weightage to the perform ance in Class XII examination and the performance in the joint entrance test. The result declared shall comprise of the final score of the candidate and the rank secured by the candidate in the category to which the candidate belongs. III.
