The National University of Advanced Legal Studies (NUALS) was set up by Act 27 of 2005 of the Kerala State Legislature. While it was built up in 2002 it was known as the National Institute for Advanced Legal Studies (NIALS) under the Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT). Post the authorization of the NUALS Act; it has turned into a free University like the other National Law Schools. NUALS is arranged in Cochin; know as Queen of Arabian Sea.

To the extent the nature of training is concerned, it's a blend of both great and terrible. NUALS offers just a five year B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) degree program. From the 2009 Admissions, the course is offered under the Choice Based Credit Semester System. There are some greatly great teachers and amazingly terrible educators.

Campus Recruitment

NUALS was begun as the National Institute of Advanced Legal Studies in the year 2002 and was later converged into NUALS in the year 2005.

Placement Details

16 students from the Class of 2016 at the National University for Advanced Legal Studies have been recruited, including 2 in Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas.

Out of a batch of Eighty One, 36 students have opted to sit for placements, out of which 16 landed jobs. The recruitment process is still underway and will go on till May of this year.
