The Punjab Medical Entrance Test (PMET) Exam is now replaced by NEET exam.

Admissions to MBBS and BDS programmes in government, private and deemed universities across Punjab state will be done on the basis of NEET scores.

Punjab MBBS admission 2017 will be the basis for admissions to 85% state quota seats. Further, admissions to 15% All India Quota seats will be done by Medical Counselling Committee (MCC).

Punjab MBBS Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must be medically fit and have to submit a certificate of medical fitness

Candidates belonging to unreserved category must have obtained not less than 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together at the HSC/10+2 examination, whereas candidates belonging to reserved category and person with disability (PWD) have to obtain a minimum of 40% marks in 10+2 examination

Persons with disability (PWD) in General category have to obtain a minimum of 45% marks in the 10+2examination

Candidates must be a domicile of Punjab

The applicant must be born on or before December 31, 1999
