PMET Singapore Statistics

The proportion of foreigners working in Professional, Managerial, Executive and Technical (PMET) occupations in Singapore has fallen between 2014 and 2015

The number of non-residents in the PMET workforce increased between 2013 and 2015. There were 365,800 non-residents working as PMETs in Singapore in 2015, up from 353,200 in 2014 and 335,800 in 2013.

In the manufacturing sector, the percentage of non-resident workers was 29 per cent in 2015, up from 28.3 per cent in 2014 and 25 per cent in 2013

There were 34,500 non-resident workers in the construction sector, up from 33,100 in 2014 and 29,900 in 2013.

The number of non-residents in the services sector has been increasing from 2013 to 2015. There were 271,300 non-residents working in the services sector in 2015, up from 260,900 in 2014 and 249,100 in 201
