The Cricket at Palmerston North Boys' High school is highly competitive and equally successful.

In recent years the school's 1st XI have reached the finals of the national tournament, The Gillette Cup in 2012 and 2013.

The Palmerston North Boys' High School is one of the largest cricket clubs in New Zealand with over 450 students playing cricket at various levels.
