AP POLYCET 2016 also recognized as polytechnic common entrance test is the state level entrance exam conducted by Andhra Pradesh State Board of Technical Education and Training (SBTET) Hyderabad. The examination is conducted for screening aspirants for their admission in the various polytechnic courses that includes engineering, technical, non-engineering, offered by various private and government polytechnic institutes located in Andhra Pradesh. Eligibility Criteria The aspirants appearing for AP Polycet exam, must check the eligibility criteria before applying for the exam, the eligibility criteria is mentioned in details below. Aspirants must be an Indian Citizen. The aspirants should belong to Andhra Pradesh or should have passed from the schools located in AP. The aspirants must have passed/appearing S.S.C. Examination or equivalent can apply for the exam. The candidates who have passed with compartments in their qualifying exam are also eligible to apply. There is no age limit for appearing in the AP Polycet exam. Important Dates Commencement of online filing of Applications: 18th March, 2016 Last date of filling online Application Form: 14th April, 2016 AP Polycet Hall Ticket: Closed AP Polycet Exam Date: 27th April 2016 Result Announcement Date: 9th May, 2016 Exam Pattern The AP POLYCET 2016 entrance examination was held on the 27th April 2016. The length of the examination will be 2 hours. The question paper comprised of 120 objective type questions. There is no negative marking for incorrect answers. For correct response 1 marks is awarded. The question paper comprises of questions based on the class 10th level, the question will be asked form Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry. The bare minimum marks for declaring a candidate to have passed in the Entrance examination shall be thirty percent i.e., 36 marks out of 120.
