The full form for of PPMET is Punjab Para Medical Entrance Test. It is for admission to B.Sc Nursing course which is conducted by Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot.

Educational Qualifications:
One should posses Intermediate / 10+2 or equivalent with science subjects (Physics, Chemistry. Biology) and English from a recognized Board / University with minimum of 50% aggregate marks (PCBE) for the General/OBC Category (40% in case of SC/ST category).

Those who are appearing for the Intermediate or equivalent exam but the results are not declared shall be permitted to appear in the Written Entrance Test.

Age Limits
Candidate ensures that has completed the age of 17 years on or before 31st December.

Nationality:
One should be an Indian National.

Syllabus
Punjab Para Medical Entrance Test consists of questions from:
1. Physics,
2. Chemistry
3. Botany &
4. Zoology subjects of +2 level.


Paper Pattern
The Test shall have one paper consisting of questions in Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany and Zoology).

The duration of test is three hours. There will be 200 Multiple Choice Questions (50 each of Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology).

Each question carry four marks, thus total marks will be 800. There will be no negative marking. The questions will be in English.

One needs to find out the correct answer and mark it on the Optical Mark Reader (OMR) Response Sheet by darkening the corresponding oval against the serial number of the question with Black Fine Tip Ball Pen only provided by the university at the time of test.
