Re: Pq mba
The Stillman School of Business, Seton Hall University Provide Sequence and Waiver Policy for M.B.A. Pre-Qualification (PQ). M.B.A. Pre-Qualification (PQ) Sequence and Waiver Policy Each PQ is approximately 12 – 30 hours in length. The PQs may be waived if the following applies: Legal Studies PQ (BMBA 8009) $450 (0 Credits) An undergraduate Business Law course taken within five years of enrolling in the M.B.A. program or by passing the Legal Studies Challenge Exam. Accounting PQ (BMBA 8010) $450 (0 Credits) Financial Accounting or the equivalent taken within seven years of enrolling in the M.B.A. program or a current professional accounting license (CPA license). Economics PQ (BMBA 8011) $450 (0 Credits) Six credits of undergraduate economics taken within seven years of enrolling in the M.B.A. program. (A student with only three credits of undergraduate economics may opt to take the Economics Challenge Exam.) Math PQ (BMBA 8018) $450 (0 Credits) An undergraduate degree with a major in math or by passing the Math Challenge Exam. Statistics PQ (BMBA 8019) $450 (0 Credits) Waived only by passing the Statistics Challenge Exam. Information Technology Management PQ (BMBA 8020) $450 (0 Credits) PQs and Challenge Exams ($60) are offered just before every semester. Challenge Exams are offered first, then the PQs. If a student does not pass the Challenge Exam, he/she may still register for the PQ. Each Challenge Exams may only be taken once. An M.B.A. student must receive a passing grade on a Challenge Exam to “challenge out” of a PQ. (There are no Challenge Exams for the Accounting PQ and the Finance PQ.) All Challenge Exams are offered through the Stillman Student Information Office (SIO) at (973) 761–9222. For all undergraduate courses listed above, students must have received a passing grade.
