The Indian Forest Services exam will consist of 2 papers; paper 1 and paper 2(CSAT).

There will be 100 questions in paper 1.

It was earlier known as General Studies.

The time duration will be of 2 hours.
The question paper will carry 200 marks.
There will be penalty for wrong answer (0.33).
CSAT paper will have 80 questions.
It will also carry 200 marks and its time duration is same which is 2 hours.

Indian Forest Services (IFS) Exam is conducted by the UPSC every year.

The Mains exam consists of 6 papers:

General English
General Knowledge
2 papers of optional subject - 1
2 papers of optional subject – 2
