Hi rajneet as you are asking about the process to join the flying branch in Indian Air Force so hear I am providing you the necessary details Procedure to join Flying Branch Combined Defense Services Examination (CDSE) – Union Public Service Commission is responsible for conducting this exam. This exam is only for unmarried men. There are psychological tests, group tests and personal interview for all the candidates who qualify in the written examination. The age of applicant must be above 19 and below 23. National Cadet Corps: This entry scheme is for unmarried male candidates having ‘C’ certificate in NCC Air Wing Senior Division. There is no written examination for joining flying branch in this process but there will be a personal interview test which will govern by Service Selection Board (SSB). The age of applicant must be above 19 and below 23. Candidate must have minimum of 60% marks in B.Tech. Flying (Pilot) Short Service Commission At this entry process both unmarried men and women can apply. Candidate must have minimum of 60% marks in B.Tech course Procedure to join Technical Branch Direct Entry Scheme Men and Women candidates who have age between 18 and 28 years can apply through this scheme. The age of unmarried applicants should be below 25 years. Candidate must have minimum of 60% marks in B.Tech course University Entry Scheme (UES) Those candidates who are studying in the final semester of B.Tech course can apply through this scheme. Such the candidates should have minimum of 60% aggregate up to last semester at the time of applying for or during AFSB testing Also the candidate must not have any backlogs during previous semesters. |
