You can join Indian Army after completing B.Tech through the CDS (combined defence service exam). Here are the details of UPSC Combined Defence Services (CDS I) examination:


Eligibility:
The applicant should hold Degree of a recognized University or equivalent.


(A) Tentative Schedule: (Examination held twice a year)
(i) Notification of Examination August and March
(ii) Conduct of Examination February and August


Paper pattern:

English (Objective type) 100 Marks

General Knowledge (Objective type) 100 Marks

Elementary Mathematics (Objective type) 100 Marks

Total 300 Marks
