Well if you want to join Intelligence Bureau (IB) Department as Junior Intelligence Officers then you have a good opportunity as Intelligence Bureau (IB) Ministry of Home Affairs has announced the recruitment for selection of eligible candidates in the post of Junior Intelligence Officers and Personal Assistants respectively.

Recruitment Details of IB:

Total Vacancy: 74 Posts (JIO: 32; PA: 42)

Pay Scale:
For Personal Assistant: Rs.9300-34800 + Grade Pay of Rs. 4600
For Junior Intelligence Officer: Rs. 5200- 20200 + Grade Pay of Rs. 2400

Eligibility Required:

Academics--
Must be at least intermediate/ Class 12th passed / holding any other equivalent qualification in Stenography for the post of Personal Assistant and Class 10th + ITI certification passed in either of the following trades:
Radio Technician/ Communication/ Computer/ Electronics/ Electrical respectively for the post of Junior Intelligent Officer.

Age Bar:
-The minimum and the maximum qualifying age of all the applicants should be 18 and 27 years respectively with effect from 2nd June 2014.
-The candidates belonging to the reserved categories including SC/ST/OBCs shall be given relaxation in the upper age limits as per the rules framed by the government for this purpose.

Manner of Selection:
-Selection will be done on the basis of Written Exam, Skill Test and Personal Interview respectively.
-The candidates not qualifying in any of the above stated examinations shall be barred from the concerned recruitment.

Closing date: 2nd June 2014

Application Process:

-Online applications are acceptable for the concerned recruitment
-The online registration window opens on 3rd May 2014 for all the candidates and closes on 2nd June 2014.
-Candidates applying in any other modes shall not be considered for the recruitment.
-The candidates should pay the examination fee of Rs50 (General & OBC Male candidates) in either of the modes- online from the Challan Form available at the registration website or offline through cash deposited at any of the State bank of India branches for this purpose.
-SC/ST/Women candidates need not pay the application fee as they are fully exempted from this.
