I am doing diploma. Will you please tell me procedure to join the Air Force, Navy for diploma holders?

As per your request, I am giving you procedure to join the Indian Air force and India Navy for diploma holders.

For joining the Indian Air Force (IAF)

Name of the Post:

Group- X (Technical) Trades
Group- Y {For Automobile Technician, Ground Training Instructor and Indian Air Force (Police)} Trades

Qualification:
Applicants need to pass diploma degree form recognized university.

Age Criteria:

Applicant age should not be greater than 21 years .

Medical Standards:

Height: Minimum 152.5 cm.
Chest: Minimum: 5 cm.
Weight: Proportionate to height and age.
Corneal Surgery (PRK/LASIK) not acceptable.
Hearing: Applicant should have normal hearing.
Dental: Applicant needs to have healthy gums, good set of teeth and minimum 14 dental points.
Health: Applicant needs be of normal anatomy without loss of any appendages.

Selection Criteria: Selection of the candidate depends on followings

Salary:

For Group- X Post: Rs. 24,900/- per month
For Group- Y Post: Rs. 20,500/- per month

Eligibility:

Applicants need to pass 3 years diploma with at lesst 50% marks in Mechanica1/ Electrical/Electronicsl.Instrumentation Engineering/ Telecommunicationl, Aeronautical/Ship Building and Architecture from recognized university.

Age Criteria:

15 to 18 years as on the mentioned date in the year of examination.
18 to 22 years for Direct Entry Artificer.

Physical Standards:

Minimum Height: 157 cms (relaxable up to 152 cms)
Chest: 5cm

Eye Sight:
Without glasses 6/12 (6/24 for Diploma Holders)
