Re: PU CET Test

The Punjab University Common Entrance Test is a university level examination, which is organized by Punjab University.

This exam is conducted for providing admissions into various undergraduate courses such as Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery (BHMS), B.Pharmacy and B.Sc. (Hons.).

It commences once in a year.

Important dates:

Application form starts Third week of March 2017
Application form end Second or Third week of May 2017
Admit card release Third week of May 2017
Punjab CET UG Exam date 4th June 2017
Punjab CET PG Exam date 10th & 11th June 2017
Result announcement Second week of June 2017

Application fees:

The application fee is Rs. 1760/- for general candidates and Rs. 880/- for SC/ST/Blind candidates.

Age:
Age of 17 years

Education:

Only Indian National candidates are eligible to apply (except NRI quota).
Candidates must have passed 12th or equivalent exam from any recognized board with physics, chemistry and mathematics subjects.

Exam Pattern
The PU CET exam has 4 parts.
The exam paper for each of the subjects given is different and the time duration for each section is 70 minutes.
There will be a total of 60 questions in each section.
The candidate has to return both the answer sheet and the question paper once the exam is over.

Marks for every correct answer 2
Negative marking 0.25
