Hey buddy the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI) is an autonomous apex statutory body which regulates and develops the insurance industry in India.

It was constituted by a Parliament of India act called Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority Act, 1999 [2][3] and duly passed by the Government of India


There is no such kind of per\son as the Public Information Officer in the IRDA

Policyholders who have complaints against insurers are required to first approach the Grievance/Customer Complaints Cell of the concerned insurer that is to the RTI

If they do not receive a response from insurer(s) within a reasonable period of time or are dissatisfied with the response of the company, they may approach the Grievance Cell of the IRDAI.
