MBA program-

The MBA is recognised internationally as the most suitable qualification to prepare business people for successful careers within the senior cadres of their organisations.

An MBA improves the management skills of participants and innovative study themes unlock new knowledge that guides developing leaders in a creative way to play a definite value-adding role within their organisations.

The dynamic programme content is carefully compiled for individuals who not only expect value for their money, but insist on continued returns on the investment of their time and hard years of study.

Duration-

The minimum duration and maximum duration of the MBA programme are respectively two and three continuous academic years.

Admission requirements-

Four-year degree qualification (or equivalent) on NQF level 8. Any international qualification must be verified by the South African Qualification Authority (SAQA). This verification process is the responsibility of the applicant and not that of the
NWU; or

An honours degree on NQF level 8; or

A post-graduate diploma on NQF level 8;

PLUS a minimum of three years working experience;

PLUS successful completion of the SHL admission test.

Contact sessions

There are eight scheduled contact sessions per semester:
Potchefstroom: Afrikaans medium;
Vanderbijlpark (Quest Conference Estate): English medium

Delivery sites of the qualification

• Potchefstroom Campus on part-time basis;
• Vaal Campus on part-time basis @ the Quest Conference Estate;
• Mafikeng Campus on a block-release basis
