Well the Savitribai Phule Pune University, formerly the University of Pune, is a university in Pune in western India, founded in 1948.

The Academic Staff Colleges organize 5-6 Orientation Programmes of 4 weeks duration for newly appointed College/University teachers (having less than 6 years of teaching experience).

Orientation Programme Curriculum

In order to achieve the above mentioned objectives, the curriculum of Academic Staff Orientation Programme includes following five components, which are covered in minimum of 144 contact hours i.e. 6 hours daily for a four-week programme.

Development and Education.

Component B : Philosophy of Education, Indian Education, Indian
Education System and Pedagogy.


Component C : Resource Awareness And Knowledge Generation
