On your concern I will tell you the fee structure an details about Punjab Medical Entrance Test so that you can remember easily. Application fees Rs.5000/- for General Category (Rs.2500/- for SC categories only) be deposited in any branch of the Oriental Bank of Commerce throughout India by using Bank challan form which is generated after applying online through University The prescribed Application Fee should be remitted through prescribed Bank Challan form or Payment Gateway provided using a Credit card or a Debit card issued by banks in India or through Internet Banking Exam pattern There will be only one paper comprising in 200 multiple-choice questions based on physics, chemistry, botany and zoology as 50 questions from each Each question will carry four marks. There is no negative marking for wrong answer. However, one mark will be deducted from unanswered question Centre(s) for the conduct of PMET-2016: Will be mentioned on the admit card Syllabus: The syllabus for PMET-2016 is given at Annexure-I of this Prospectus That will be of 3 hours duration. Te language of the examination will be in English only. The candidates will have to write only with black ball pen Reservation of Seats The reservation for the State quota seats in Govt. institutes in various categories for UG Courses in Got. Medical Institutes shall be as under: (i) Scheduled Caste 25% (ii) Backward Classes 5% (iii) Backward Area/ Border Area (1% each) 2% (iv) Physically Handicapped/Orthopedically Handicapped only 3% (v) Sports Persons 1% Eligibility Candidate must be an Indian Citizen The candidates should have passed 10+2 examination in science discipline from any of the recognized board of examinations Candidate must have passed +2 with in Physics, Chemistry and Biology (including both Botany and Zoology)/ Bio-Technology and English Candidates are also required to have an aggregate of 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together while physically handicapped candidate must have secure 45% and SC/ST/OBC candidates 40% marks in an aggregate of Physics, Chemistry and Biology/ Bio-Technology). |
