Re: Punjab Technical Board Joint Entrance Test

As you want to know the eligibility criteria of Punjab Technical Board Joint Entrance Test for that I’m ready to gather information.

Eligibility
The candidates should possess the Indian citizenship.

The candidates should have passed or appearing in the 10th examination with mathematics, science and English from the recognized educational board in India.

The should have minimum 35% to appear for the examination.

The candidate appearing for the 10th exam are also eligible to apply on a provisional basis

Available Seats
The 85% seats are reserved for the candidates who have the domicile certificate of Punjab (means he/she have the proof of residing in Punjab) and the rest 15% for all India applicants in management quota.

Examination Pattern:


The duration of the examination is 3 hours and there will be 200 questions of MCQ type.

The total marks of the Punjab JET 2016 examination is 200.

The candidates will get 1 mark for each correct answer and there will be a penalty for wrong answers.

The subjects-wise distribution of questions for Punjab JET 2015 is as follows-
Mathematics- 50 questions
Physics- 50 questions
Chemistry- 50 questions
English- 25 questions
Mental ability- 25 questions


Application fees

The candidates can collect their application form the Deputy Commissioner’s office & board and several other notified centers by paying a minimal amount of Rs. 50. The candidates can also download the application form from the official website of Punjab JET as well.
