Entrace test pattern

The total marks for the Entrance Examination shall be 250.

Paper-I shall be of a total of 150 marks as explained above. The paper will consist of 150 multiple choice questions.

a) Part A : General Awareness Test- 50 Marks
b) Part B : Teaching Potential- 50 Marks
c) Part C : General Mental Ability Test- 50 Marks

Paper-II shall consist of two parts of 50 marks each. These papers will consist of 100 multiple choice questions.

a) Language Proficiency Test- 100 marks

(i) English – 50 marks
(ii) Punjabi or Hindi- 50 marks

Eligibility
Applicants must have passed Bachelor Degree/ Master degree in Sciences/Social Sciences/Humanities with at least 50 % (45% for SC/ST Applicants ) marks and Bachelor in Engineering or Technology with specialization in Science and Mathematics with 55% marks (50% for SC/ST Applicants )
