Indian Institute of Technology (IIT R), Roorkee was established in 1847 As you asking I am telling IIT Roorkee Quality Improvement Programme (QIP) Centre was set up in 1970 - 71, It has been endeavoring to improve the quality of technical education among engineering faculty in the country since its inception. IIT Roorkee Quality Improvement Programme (QIP) Centre is involved in its activities through following modules: Admission for Degree Programme (M.Tech. and Ph.D.) Running One Week Short Term Courses Organizing C.D.
