The School Education Department of Government of Andhra Pradesh conducts Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (APTET). Qualification; Candidates should have passed senior secondary/12th or its equivalent with minimum 45% marks or pursuing final year of 2 – year Diploma in Elementary Education. Eligibility: The candidates at the time of applying for APTET should have the minimum qualifications prescribed for a teacher for category I to V classes (Paper-I) and VI to VIII classes (Paper-II) as given below. or should pursuing Teacher Education Course. For Telugu Pandit: B.A. (Telugu Literature) or BA (Oriental Language-Telugu) or gradute degree with optional subject Telugu or MA (Telugu) pass or pursuing Telugu Pandit Training Certificate For Hindi Pandit: A graduate degree with optional subject Hindi or Bachelor of Oriental Language Hindi or Praveen of Dakshina Bharat Hindi Prachar Sabha or Vidwan of Hindi Prachar Sabha, Hyderabad of any other equivalent recognized qualification in Hindi by the Government of A.P. or M.A., Hindi pass or pursuing Hindi Pandit Training Certificate. For Urdu Pandit: BA (Urdu Literature) or BA (Oriental Language Urdu) or Graduate Degree with optional subject Urdu or M.A. (Urdu) pass or pursuing Urdu Pandit Training Certificate Exam Pattern: APTET Syllabus consists of two objective type question papers. Each paper will consist of 150 MCQs and each question carries 1 marks totaling for 150 marks. Following are the details of question papers : Paper I Syllabus: To become teachers for classes I-V in Andhra Pradesh primary school. Paper II Syllabus: To become teachers for classes between VI and VIII in Andhra Pradesh upper primary school. Paper I and II: For those candidates who interested in teaching from Class I to VIII. They can appear for both the papers and have to get qualifying marks to be considered for all the classes. |
