The International English Language Testing System, is an international Standardised Test of English language proficiency for non-native English language speakers.

It is Jointly Managed by the British Council, IDP: IELTS Australia and Cambridge English Language Assessment,

It was Established in 1989.

IELTS is Accepted by most Australian, British, Canadian and New Zealand academic Institutions, by over 3,000 academic institutions in the United States

IELTS Exam Eligibility

The eligibility for IELTS exam is

IELTS is not recommended for candidates under the age of 16.
It is eligible for student.
Students who are applying to study in UK, Australia, Canada, US and New Zealand

People planning to emigrate to Canada, Australia or New Zealand

The minimum education qualification is 10+2.

Candidates from any discipline who wish to study in an English-speaking country can take this test

Fees for IELTS:

In India, the fee is Rs.7600, payable at the time of registration.

You can pay INR by means of a Nationalized bank draft payable to the British Council.

For Indian:

1. If a candidates wishes to transfer the test date then the candidate will have to pay Rs.1,900/- as transfer fee.

2. If a candidate wishes to cancel the test date then there will be a deduction of Rs.1,900/- from the test fee and the balance is refunded to the candidate.

3. Candidates who request for a cancellation of their registration more than 5 weeks prior to the test date will receive a refund of Rs.5,700/- (75% of the test fee).
