Railways Entrance Exam for Mechanical Engineer
Which of the Railway Entrance Exam is conducted for Mechanical Engineer??? Special Class Railway Apprentices' (SCRA) candidates are selected by the Union Public Service Commission India to the undergraduate program in Mechanical Engineering at the Indian Railways Institute of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, Jamalpur. Training-- -The selected candidates undergo a four-year rigorous training programme in Mechanical Engineering, Indian Railways Institute of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, Jamalpur. -IRIMEE has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Ranchi for the training. Degree Awarded--- -SCRAs get a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering after successful completion of four years of training. -This degree is recognised by the All India Council for Technical Education. Eligibility: Age - limits: Age must be in between 17-21 years on 1st August of the year of examination Certain categories of persons as specified in the Notice are eligible for age relaxation. Educational Qualification -Must have passed in the first or second division, the Intermediate or an equivalent examination of a university or board approved by the Government of India with Mathematics and atleast one of the subjects Physics and Chemistry as subjects of the examination.
